a Sarah Kay necklace

Good morning!  Today I have a different type of project to share with you.  I love making 3D items and altering things as well as making cards so this project was a lot of fun to create!

I also wanted to show you how versatile the Stampavie images are.  Don’t feel limited by size…if you are working in small dimensions, you can use just a portion of the image on your project.  Here I used just a portion of the Sarah Kay stamp called Juliet In The Field Of Nasturtiums to create this necklace for CHA.

Here’s a close up of the pendant (purchased at Michael’s).  It opens from the latch on the right side and has 2 panes of glass inside.  Between the two panes I inserted a piece of acetate which I cut to size.  The image was stamped onto the acetate with Stazon ink and I colored on the reverse side with Copic markers.  (You need to color on the reverse side or the Copic ink will break down the Stazon ink.)

I hope you like my project and step out of the box to create something wonderful today!

Thanks for stopping by!

stamp- Sarah Kay Juliet In The Field Of Nasturtiums by Stampavie; ink- Stazon Black; accessories- clear acetate, Copics, Industrial Chic pendant, 36″ chain.
