doodling with MIX13

There’s a new mixed media challenge forum that started back in February on the Splitcoast site.  Have you checked it out?  I finally took the plunge and played along with this week’s challenge…to include some hand drawn doodling on your project. 

I had some time Friday night between loads of laundry to quickly sketch some flowers, a sentiment, and a squiggly border.  I was inspired by my friends Dina and Bridget (their cards are LOVELY!)

You also must pick any 2 mediums for the MIX… I watercolored the image with Twinkling H2O’s (it really shimmers in person!), then spritzed the piece with a SU! Regal Rose marker.  A few accents were added with a glitter pen and I added a bit of Liquid Pearls to the butterfly.  Hope I did it right!  If not, I had fun anyway.  :0)
