a Summer Die-version

Sweet ‘n Sassy stamps is having a little Summer Die-Version with a special blog hop featuring some fabulous new dies, released today!  I have 3 cards to share…they are fun to create with!

I just love them all and had a hard time choosing which ones to use first.  I guess the Shapes dies were calling my name.  lol.  Here’s a few cards I made with them.

Last night I really wanted to try using the leaves dies with the Puzzle Piece Resist technique so I started another card…but I had surgery on my hand the day before and I was really over-doing it to try to craft.  Luckily, I was together with my friends so my friend, Jeannette, finished sponging and put the twine on for me and Shannon glued my leaves back in place.  lol.  I have the best group of friends!  In turn, I cut paper for Jeannette which was less stress on my finger!

So here’s my card with puzzle-pieced leaves…

I embossed the Sweet ‘n Sassy Music Background on white cardstock with clear embossing powder.  Then I cut it into squares and diecut the leaves.  Next the background and leaves were sponged separately, then the leaves were glued back into place.  Here’s a close up.

Now here’s the full sets of dies being released… ♥  The leaves match the Nature Silhouettes 2 stamp set!

AND…Korin is having a Summer Sale in the SNSS store…be sure to check it out!

Check out more samples with the new dies made by our DT on the Sweet ‘n Sassy blog!
