Hello friends!
The current Ai Challenge is “’Prep for Christmas” …and we are featuring the new Christmas Clear Sets! Plus…Ai and Thermoweb are participating in a product swap so be sure to check out the DT samples this week and read below for a chance to win one of two grand prizes!
Here I used the Merriest Christmas Set (4790) and some vintage looking papers to create my card. I also used some Gold Deco Foil and the Foil Adhesive Pen to give my image a “gilded” framed edge.
I originally stamped the Santa with black ink but then I didn’t think it would look much like the gilded era if I colored him with Copics..lol.. so I flipped it over (as we stampers do! ha!) and stamped him again with a dark red ink. I could have added strips of adhesive tape to the edges of my image, but I wanted them to be sort of imperfect…so I used the glue pen around the edges and pressed the foil onto the glue.
Now it’s your turn to make a card and join us in the current Ai Challenge! We would love to see your creations!
But before you do, click here for the Rafflecopter prize drawing!
