you’re kidding!

Hello friends!  The current Ai Challenge is “Create a Background” and we are featuring the NEW Funny Farm line of stamps.  I was so excited to see this release…there are fun images of cows, goats, chickens, and dogs with plenty of punny sayings to go with them!  Here I used the AICS37 Old Goat Set.

My first background idea didn’t quite work out the way I envisioned, so I decided to stamp the goats twice in a gray ink to make them seem like they are, well, in the background. lol. I stamped and cut them again on a sticky note to create a mask for their legs and sponged some gray “ground”.

Then I stamped the goats again onto scrap cardstock with black ink and colored just one goat, cut him out by hand and popped him up over the gray image.  I diecut the cloud border with some plaid paper to give the card a more masculine look.
