birthdays and carrots

Hello! Today is another catch up day. These cards were all made at different times last year. The first one was obviously for a 50th birthday party. I used the Altenew Build-A-Flower Chrysanthemum & matching dies. Her favorite colors are royal blue and light blue so I went with that and added the “50” in silver. The background is Crafter’s Companion Eternal Elegance Cut & Emboss folder. The number dies are retired from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps.

Ink colors used: SU! Soft Sky, Bashful Blue, Pacific Point, Brilliant Blue, Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green.

Next is an acetate tent card that I made with the Spellbinders Party Kids die. Love those Spellbinders silhouette dies! You’ll be seeing more cards with those. I also used the SNSS Birthday Greetings and Lawn Fawn’s Puffy Cloud Borders dies. The clouds are by Whimsy Stamps.

Since you can’t open the card to sign the inside, I put the sentiment on the back and left space to write a message there. The punch is SU! Decorative Label.

When we visit Rhode Island, we like to stay at a bed & breakfast. The owner there has the largest carrot collection in the world! Last year when we stayed there, she was so kind to give me a rubber stamp from her collection…the sweet carrot I’ve used here to make her a set of monogrammed notecards. (She also does stained glass and I have a perfect stamp set for that…next time!)

The carrot is an old wood mount stamp by Hooks, Lines & Inkers. The alpha letter is SNSS’s Sunshine Girl Alpha.

The last card today is a beautiful swan die from a Spellbinders card kit- Golden Swan. I love it! The paper on the bottom is also from the kit and the sentiment is from SNSS Birthday Greetings.

 Happy Friday!
