chocolate cake or chocolate frosting?

I have a card to share in the hop today using the new Make A Wish, Bold Birthdays, and Humorous Birthday Innies stamp sets. Aaand…. I used my favorite technique…paper piecing! With this cute cake image, I stamped onto two patterned papers and cut them out to swap so I could get two cards for the price of one. lol. Sooo…what would YOU prefer? Chocolate swirl cake with confetti frosting or confetti cake with a chocolate swirl frosting?

YUM either way!

I diecut a circle in the cardfront and lighter pink layers to create a window, then added my cakes to the inside. The other images were stamped monochromatic so the focus is on the cake. The focus should always be on the cake. 😉

I die cut a scalloped layer for the inside to match the scalloped window on the front and added my sentiment to the bottom left for a fun twist.

Have a great day and thanks for hopping!
