decorating envelopes

For my projects today, I used several new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps sets and also a few older ones to decorate some envelopes! I love decorating envelopes to match my cards but don’t always take the time to do it. Maybe that should be one of my goals this year…at least to decorate them more often!

For the first envelope, I used Happy Mail, Going Postal, Make A Wish, and Love Ya Like A Sister Alpha. I like to try thinking of creative ways to write the mailing address and here I thought it would be fun to write it in the layers of the cake. The first name on the side is another fun way to use the many SNSS alphabets!

My second envelope was decorated with Going Postal, I Like Big Cups, and Texture Tiles 9. It will be fun writing the name and address inside the cup! Did you notice that I used part of the “cancellation” image to make the steam? The cup was lightly colored with Copics…just be sure to lay scrap paper inside while coloring so the ink won’t bleed through to the back.

My last one for today was stamped with Going Postal and Paw-some Pals. I used a grass stencil to sponge some green and then added texture with an image from the postal set. A few doggie images were stamped and I hand drew the circles. The special delivery words were placed in my MISTI on a curve.
