foliage envelopes

Do you like to decorate your envelopes? I don’t often take the time to do so, but I love to pretty them up! I used some products from the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps October release here, along with a leafy stencil.

I made two of the first envelope for some friends, so I flipped one over (underneath) to show the corner stamping on the back. I stamped some foliage on the top right and bottom left, then used a stencil over top. The Fun Times Alpha works great for a whimsical feel.

I wanted to add a mug to the second card, but I didn’t want to cut and layer it on so it could be more postal friendly if needed. Here I diecut the mug die with post-it tape and sponged green around it. Then I removed the mask and stamped the mug. This gives the look of a layered image without any layers. The mug was colored with Copic markers. Remember to lay a scrap piece of paper inside the envelope so the markers won’t bleed through to the back.

Have a great day!
