Sorry I’ve haven’t posted lately! It’s been a busy week. Among other things going on, I had Jury duty again. It’s always interesting and I really don’t mind going. It just throws a little wrench into my routine, but that’s ok. I have also been busy getting a few projects ready for another gathering coming up soon. I wasn’t originally planning on attending this one since I knew I’d be busy. But someone wasn’t able to come and they had a spot they were looking to fill. I really enjoy getting together with my NY friends, so I changed my mind. I am filling in a spot in a recipe swap and this is what I came up with. It’s my family’s favorite dip…I’ve made it so many times over the years and I never measure the ingredients anymore. When I saw this flower in the Garden Silhouettes set, I thought it looked like dill weed. I have been wanting to use it with this recipe for a while….I’m glad I finally made them! Don’t ask me what the frogs have to do with dill….except maybe they are both green. LOL. But I thought they would make a fun page. The frogs on the top are a retired SU! wheel and the bee, butterfly and frog on the bottom are from a Cuttlebug die. I used markers to color portions of them and added a little Stickles to the bee & butterfly. The recipe words are computer generated with the Scrap Baby font found here. It’s on sale right now for $1 if you want to check it out.
Have a great day!
