Hi card and envelope

Happy Wednesday! Today’s projects use products from Creative Worship Stamps (Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps). Here I used Worthy King Alpha (new this month), Joyful Flowers Layering Stencil, and the Circles Dies. I had several ideas in mind for using this awesome new alphabet set and I especially wanted to decorate an envelope. Everyone loves to receive happy mail, but it’s even more special with a pretty envy. 🙂

But first, I made a simple card with an embossed panel for texture. The stenciled floral design was die cut and layered with circles. Instead of fussing cutting the letters here, I simply stamped them over the stenciling and let the background show through.

For the decorated envelope, I first stamped the letters on an angle to make it whimsical. I only partially colored the letters with Copic markers (add a scrap paper inside the envelope to prevent bleed through). Next, with a pen and ruler, I drew the lines. The flowers were then stenciled around the envelope. I didn’t want to photograph the finished envelope with the postage and address so I just photoshopped those words in gray.

Have a great evening and stay cool!
