snow much fun

Good morning! Today I have two cards with some more cute snowmen stamps from this month’s release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps! This set is called Snow Much Fun.  And if you haven’t checked out SNSS’s birthday sale yet, it’s not too late! This sale runs all month long. No code needed!

I die cut an oval shape from plain copy paper for my first card and used it as a stencil to sponge on a bit of blue. The I stamped the flakes and sentiment and popped the snowman up. There’s a little Stickles that doesn’t show in the photo.

I also popped up the second snowman…this time in front of a die cut window with patterned paper behind it. If you look closely, there’s some subtle red snowflakes stamped on the red cardstock base.

Have a great day!

a few thank you cards

I recently made a few quick thank you cards for some companies that donated to our local Stamp & Swap event. Many thanks to them for supporting us! I always like to use each companies’ products when making their thank you card. For Art Impressions, I used the cute 5112- Hedgehogs stamp set. I also used MFT’s Stitched Arch Stax.

Here I used Avery Elle’s The Scoop stamp set and matching dies, along with MFT’s Stitched Rectangle Frames.

The cute little boat is from Clearly Besotted. The wave dies are Lawn Fawn Stitched Wave Borders.

And for MFT I used the lovely Stitched Blooms dies along with Blueprints 31.

I’ll be back to share my swap projects. Have a great day!

For today’s hop I used the Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set to create two cards. For my first one I used non-traditional colors, a mustard-y yellow and dark gray. The colors are well suited for the folk art style. This set is so pretty!

Here I used the flakes with a traditional red Christmas color and kept it monochromatic.

Have a great day and thanks for hopping!

cheerful snowmen

Good morning! Today I have two cards with a sweet snowmen stamp set from the new November release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps!  We all love snowmen and this set is a must-have…so adorable! It’s called Cheerful Snowmen and they are aptly named… sure to bring a smile to all who receive them! (While you are on the site, be sure to check out the birthday sale. SNSS is turning 12!)

How cute is this snowy fella with his banner? Instead of coloring in his scarf, I dotted it with my marker tip.

My second card was inspired by one that was done maybe 8 or 10 years ago but I still love the look of the snowflakes punched with small circle punches. It really gives a whimsical feel to it!

Have a great day and check out all the new stamps in this month’s release!

a Skele-bration

Happy Halloween! Today’s card is one that I made for a friend who has an October birthday and loves all things Halloween! I put the treat boxes from the SU! September 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit together for my friends and decided to use the same stamp set to make this card. All sentiments were typed and printed from my computer.

The hardest part was masking that one little bone to stamp by the word humerus. lol.

Have a fun & safe Halloween!

such a deer!

Good morning! Today I have a card using thecute and versatile Fur-ever Friends stamp set. I wanted to go monochromatic with this sweet deer and I chose blue!

I decided to have him peeking out and kept my card CAS to keep the focus on the window. This set is a lot of fun!

Have a great day!

a second spring

Good morning! For today’s card I went “old school” and revisited an old technique we used to love…Poppin’ Pastels! All of my images from SNSS’ Autumn Splendor were stamped with Versamark ink and then I applied chalk pastels. You can use a Q-tip or make-up type applicator but I just used my finger tips!

I hope you have fun trying this technique again too. Have a great day!

aloe there!

Good morning! Today I have 2 cards using the Succulents stamp set from this month’s release. I pulled some matching papers from my stash and used the aloe plant image for my first card. Gotta love a punny sentiment!

For my second card, I masked and stamped several images together.

After stamping, I embossed the panel with a finely textured embossing folder and added a few drops of Stickles.

Have a great day!

Grateful Heart

Good morning! Today I used the October Stamp of the Month: Grateful Heart to create 2 cards. I paired my images with some pretty fall papers and a cable knit embossing folder for some warm and cozy greetings. I love this fall arrangement!

Here’s a great pumpkin image for any autumn occasion.

Have a great day and check out all the new stamps in this month’s release!
