valentine hats

I’m very late in sharing this photo…here’s some Valentine’s Day cards I made this year. I love the sweet animals from Anita Jeram’s stamp sets but sadly they are all now retired from Colorado Craft Company. These kitties are from Christmas Hats set.

I am going to still enjoy her artwork!

happy flappy birthday

Once upon a time, a few of my close stamping friends went to a convention and came home with the Happy Flappy Card Base Dies by Creek Bank Creations and I thought it was a fun card, so I purchased them too. You know how that goes! I used those dies to make this masculine birthday card. I also used the CBC Happy Mother’s Sentiment Stamps, MFT Celebrate Speech Bubble, Lawn Fawn- Push Here, and Creative Worship Stamps- Make A Wish.

With leftover pieces, I made another, simpler, masculine card…

Go check out Creek Bank Creations for other fun card ideas.

birthday blooms & more

I’m catching up with a few more photos and sharing some various birthday cards today that I’ve made this year. The first one was requested that I make for a friend to give to her sister. I believe I semi-cased another friend’s card here. The silver cardstock accents are so shiny and pretty irl.

My second card was die cut with the 2″ Circle Card Making Die and Bib Overlay dies by The Paper Cut. I fussy cut some extra flowers from the patterned paper and popped them up on the lower left and by the sentiment.

The next card is an alternate that I made with the SU! May 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. I also used the Thoughtful Expressions dies and a sentiment from Shaded Summer. The velvet ribbon and pretty bird charm give it lots of texture and dimension. I scored the base for a gate fold card and added images to the inside to coordinate.

I used another Paper Pumpkin kit with some number dies and Creative Worship Stamps candles to make an 85th birthday card. The leaves on this card also have a lot of shine.

For my last birthday card, I used Spellbinders Club Blooms dies, Floral Fence of Togetherness embossing folder, and Sentimental Ampersand. I wanted the flowers to pop on a dark background, so I used a black base. Then I added some gold splatters and sparkly enamel dots.

We finally got some warm weather, and the temps went straight to 97! Stay cool!

Grace in every season

Hello! I’m sharing a card that I made for the current Unity Stamps color challenge. I was happy to ink up this swan image…it’s so pretty! Here I used Unity- The Gentle Goodbye. I also used MFT Stitched Scallop Edges and Stitched Mini Scallop Ovals.

The swan and flowers were stamped onto post-it notes and cut out for masking. I also punched a small circle to mask a moon before ink blending.

Have a nice evening!

goose hello

Here’s a quick CAS card I made using Art Impressions’ Goose Freebie. This card is a bit smaller than I normally make. It is 3 1/2 x 5, which is the smallest mailable letter with the USPS. I also used Hero Arts Hello die, MFT Triple Peekaboo Window die, and SU! Brass Butterflies.

Have an amazing day!

Bee-Hold fun fold

Good morning! I’ll be catching up now with the cards I made this year. In January, I made this birthday fun fold card using Unity Stamps Bee-Hold set. I followed the Tuck & Reveal fun fold tutorial by Susan Campfield.

When opened, it reveals two pop outs. When closed, the left flap tucks behind the larger pop out. The yellow dsp layer on the left inside could be used as a place for writing a message. Or simply write above and below the small pop out, or on the back.

That little bee is so cute. I added glitter to his wings!

CAS cards

Here I’m sharing the last few cards that I made in 2025. These are all simple to make. The first one uses a panel from Echo Park- Bee Happy collection.

My second card is a cased layout that was shared by a friend. I don’t know who to give credit to, but I think it’s lovely. I used the retired MFT Stitched Arch Stax and Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms dies.

We knew 2 pastors who were ordained last year, and this last photo is one of the cards that I made. I was a bit stumped on what to create but simply printing the words and stenciling some clouds seemed to work out ok!

Have a great evening!

deepest sympathy

Last fall I made a few sympathy cards with a layout that I previously used on this card from 2023. I really like the simplicity of it and the way I was able to switch it up with two sentiments on the front.

The words are from SNSS/Creative Worship Stamps- Morning Glories, and the Stitched Leaves are by Lawn Fawn.

Here’s my measurements if you’d like to try it…

It’s a gorgeous day- enjoy!

thank you florals

Sharing a few more today… this time some thank you cards.

The first card uses a fun sketch, the SU! Art Gallery bundle, and Spellbinders Floral embossing folder.

My second card is a gate-fold card. It was made with Taylored Expressions- Buds & Blossoms and On Occasion, Sunny Studio- Frilly Frames Lattice, and MFT Watercolor Circle Stax. It’s difficult to see, but there’s a vellum circle underneath the die cut flowers and the white circle was embossed with SU! Subtle embossing folder.

Hope you’re enjoying the sun today!

birthday blooms

I’m catching up today with a Tented Easel Card that I made for a challenge. When you open the card, it seems plain inside but lowering the flap reveals the stamped flowers and pretty paper with the popped-up sentiment.

For this fun fold, I used the SU! Textured Floral bundle and Unbounded Beauty dsp. The sentiment is from Gorgeously Made and the die cut label is from Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Have a lovely day!
