bunny birthday

Hello! Just popping in with a CAS card for a favorite little girl who turned four. She loves blue and purple! I used the cute Lots of Love stamp set and the Die-Namics Horizontal Skinny Stripes & Blueprints 15 dies.

I colored the die cut stripes with Copic markers and popped them back in place. Easy Peasy. Stay well!

only a call away

Hello! Today I have some cards using some Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps from the December release, plus a few others. I’ve used Sympathy Morning Glories,  Vintage LoveArt Deco Alpha, So Thankful, and Typewriter Text Background. Here’s a CAS card with no layers except the popped up flower. The MISTI is awesome for getting those letters straight and placing the elements exactly where you want them! This is a great alpha! Next time I’ll color in those neat letters.

Another CAS card here…sometimes an understated image is better for certain occasions. I stamped the flowers monochromatic with the cardstock and layered onto a patterned paper background.

The typewriter from the Vintage Love set pairs perfectly with the Typewriter Text Background!

Have a great day!

a monochromatic challenge

Good morning! Today Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps is having a VIP Stamp-a-thon in their VIP Facebook Group. It’s a perfect day for stamping here where I live because the forecast is snow! There’s several challenges plus Live Videos and I am starting them off with a monochromatic challenge. Here I have 3 cards that I made. The first one uses Sympathy Morning Glories. The whole front panel is popped with a sheet of craft foam.

My second card uses Happy Camper. I stamped and colored directly onto some patterned paper.

And my third card uses Winter Hugs. I normally would have colored all of these images but they are also great in a monochromatic tone!

Have a great day!

Christmas catch up

Hello! I have several Christmas cards and some scrapbook pages that I didn’t get to share so today I’ll post them all together here. The first two cards were actually made back in July for the Art Impressions new release for the summer trade show. The first card uses the 5193- Woodland Holiday Set. I also used the Hexagon Double Stitched Dies.

On my second card I used those same dies, along with 5192- Penguin Cheer Set. Both sets are so cute! Papers are from Doodlebug- home for the holidays. Sentiment is on Sizzix Ornate Labels.

I love, love, love the Simon Says Stamp Gnome dies! I will definitely be making more cards with those!

Here’s another ATC Coin I made for a swap. The Grinch stamp set is from Gina Marie Designs.

I wanted to add the extra sentiment but it wouldn’t quite fit so I added an extra scored circle to the back. Then I split the sentiment and added it to the inside.

I am not usually a scrapbooker but I made these pages for a friend so I made an extra set for myself! Love the lantern!

I used a Martha Stewart Looped Snowflake punch, retired Sweet ‘n Sassy Large Snowflake dies, Lawn Fawn Scripty Joy, Simon Says Stamp Kadyn Snowflake, Gina Marie Designs- Lantern, Pine Cone, Pine Needle Sprig set, and Ribbon Bow die set, Marianne Designs Sleigh die and tree die, Prima Forest Leaves dies, and SU! Detailed Deer Thinlits.

This starry night sky card was my shoebox project at an event in November. The stars are a Tim Holtz die. This card was CASED but I have no info where it’s from. Love the simplicity!

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get a head start and make a few Christmas cards each month. We’ll see how that goes (I say it every year).

Have a great day!

my everything

Good morning and Happy New Year! It has been 5 weeks since I’ve stamped and I’m slowly getting back in the swing of things. Today I have a valentine card with a set from this month’s release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps! Here I used the new Love Wordfetti set and some patterned paper for a quick and easy card.

The SNSS Wordfetti stamp sets are awesome to get a bunch of mix and match sentiments quickly. Use one alone or maybe three as I’ve done here. I stamped the whole set at once and cut the sentiments in strips to easily grab what I need.

I just added a few punched hearts and pearls to finish my card.

Have a great day!

stamps- Sweet ‘n Sassy Love Wordfetti; paper- white, red, black, Kaisercraft Love Notes; ink- Memento Tuxedo Black; accessories- MISTI, Martha Stewart Scallop Heart punch, pearls.

peace & joy

Hello! It has been a month since I’ve shared some cards and just as long since I’ve done much crafting. Family comes first. Our new granddaughter spent 16 days in the hospital but is home now and slowly improving. I’m also slowly getting back to finding time for stamping but first I’m trying to get caught up on Christmas. It’s less than a week away!

I don’t have any cards to share with the Sweet ‘n Sassy December release but it’s a fabulous one! Be sure to check out the new sets and all the samples the design team has been making with them. I do, however, have a few things that I didn’t share from previous releases. The Poinsettia Greetings stamp set is great and don’t feel intimidated by coloring it. Both of my cards were stamped with no coloring involved so you can make a bunch of these for your holiday cards. Get a start on next year and make a few each month…you’ll be glad you did!

I stamped the large flower twice on patterned papers and heat embossed them with gold e.p. After cutting them out, I popped the middle pink layer with some foam dots and added some tiny gold rhinestones to the center.

I stamped the flower with red ink onto gray cardstock for the second card. The silver metallic layer with diecut “joy” was leftover from a project last year. It made a perfect layer for this card.

My next two projects use the Trust in the Lord stamp set. I kept this card CAS to let the words stand out.

I also made a Faithdex card and added a paper-pieced hedgie from Fur-ever Friends.

I’ll be back with some more catching up. Have a great day!

snow much fun

Good morning! Today I have two cards with some more cute snowmen stamps from this month’s release at Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps! This set is called Snow Much Fun.  And if you haven’t checked out SNSS’s birthday sale yet, it’s not too late! This sale runs all month long. No code needed!

I die cut an oval shape from plain copy paper for my first card and used it as a stencil to sponge on a bit of blue. The I stamped the flakes and sentiment and popped the snowman up. There’s a little Stickles that doesn’t show in the photo.

I also popped up the second snowman…this time in front of a die cut window with patterned paper behind it. If you look closely, there’s some subtle red snowflakes stamped on the red cardstock base.

Have a great day!

Folk Art Snowflakes

Welcome to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps November Release Hop! There’s another fabulous release in the SNSS shop that we’ve been stamping with and we’re sharing our projects with you today! Hop along to the blogs linked below and leave a comment on each stop along the way for a chance to win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog on Wednesday, November 20.

And check out SNSS’s birthday sale!

For today’s hop I used the Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set to create two cards. For my first one I used non-traditional colors, a mustard-y yellow and dark gray. The colors are well suited for the folk art style. This set is so pretty!

Here I used the flakes with a traditional red Christmas color and kept it monochromatic.

Have a great day and thanks for hopping!

aloe there!

Good morning! Today I have 2 cards using the Succulents stamp set from this month’s release. I pulled some matching papers from my stash and used the aloe plant image for my first card. Gotta love a punny sentiment!

For my second card, I masked and stamped several images together.

After stamping, I embossed the panel with a finely textured embossing folder and added a few drops of Stickles.

Have a great day!

sing!

Good morning! Today I’m sharing some CAS cards with the Sweet ‘n Sassy Sing Loud, Scribble Flowers, and Birthday Greetings. I popped up the cloud on my first card and debated on the sentiment I would choose. I finally decided to simply let it say “sing”!

I kept my second card black & white with a pop of color in the flowers. I love this style! The large flower center has some Stickles.

Have a great day!
