Thursday challenge cards

I hope you all are having fun with the challenges over at Splitcoaststampers! Here are the cards I made for today’s challenges. I really like how they turned out….I hope you like them too! 🙂

I have had in my mind for a long time that I wanted to make an all-white card with different textures and Sharon’s challenge was a perfect opportunity to try it! Thanks to Sharon (notimetostamp) for giving us the challenge!

I used all Shimmery white cs on this card. The first layer was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Textile folder. The second layer and the circle were heat embossed with white ep and the Filigree bg stamp. The main image was stamped in black, watercolored and covered with super sticky tape & clear micro-beads. I finished it off with sheer ribbon, some brads and a pearl embellishment.

My second card was for another fun challenge by Lauren (mytime) . I used flocking and the Essential glue pad on the Caribbean cs with the stripes from the Background Sampler set to make fuzzy stripes. The 2-way glue pen was used on the yarn balls for fuzzy yarn. AND glue dots were carefully applied to the heads of the brads for funky, fuzzy brads! I LOVE those brads! 🙂

For my last card today, I combined Beate & Jen’s challenges. And it also fits Anna’s challenge from yesterday! 🙂
