I love this darling Rachelle Anne Miller image by Stampavie called “Cuddling“! And I thought, with the freezing temps here and all of the snow still on the ground, that it would make a cute valentine card.
I wanted to color the image with my Copic markers and mainly keep to the shades of pink and red. So I was a bit stumped when it came time to color the blanket because I also didn’t want it to be too red. I decided to leave the blanket white and just color the patches. Then I highlighted it with the Cool Gray 1 marker.
I drew the shades of pink and red from the patterned paper. It was given to me by a friend, so I’m sorry that I don’t have a source. A border was punched on the bottom piece with a Martha Stewart punch.
For some accents, I pulled out my Cuttlebug dies and chose the Heart #1 and Love Language.
Here’s a pic of the inside as well.
I hope you are nice and warm where you are! My toes are still cold from taking Riley for a short walk. It’s only 16 degrees here but feels even colder. It was only 7 degrees last night. Brrr!
