Teddy Get Well Soon

hc-teddy-get-well-diane-zechman.jpgWhen I first saw the new Helz Cuppleditch images by Stampavie, I was immediately in LOVE!  They are so darling!

I love them all….especially the puppies!  But this image in particular somehow stood out for me.  It is charming, heartwarming and just a “feel good” image, isn’t it?  I used to have a very similar heart satchet that hung from my dresser knob like this one.  Maybe that is what caught my eye?

When I was finished with this card, I felt that it just needed a little something extra in the corner by the words.  As I was thinking about what to put there, an extra stamped piece of this image was laying in front of me and I had an idea.  Once in a while I like to try a different type of “out of the box” technique where you use an image to make something different out of it.  Does the flower pot look familiar?  Here I colored and cut out an extra lamp and turned it upside down.  My original thought was to make a topiary but instead I settled for a flowerpot.  :0)

I stamped the image 3 times and popped up several pieces of it.  The bear’s bandaged arm and the flowers were popped up a third time for even more dimension!

You can check out the Stampavie DT blog for more samples of these fabulous images.  And while you are there check out who the new DT members are.  Stuart & Heidi had a hard time picking just 1, so there are 3 new members!  Welcome, ladies!

And if you haven’t signed up yet for the Stampavie newsletter, you can check that out too.  It’s free!  A new issue went out today and it has some fun projects and an interview with Rachelle Anne Miller.  These will only be viewed in the newsletter.

Have a great evening!
