Bella and Bronte

Yay!  It’s Friday and the weekend is almost here!  :0)

Yesterday I made this card with Mo Manning’s Bella and Bronte image by Stampavie.  I just love Mo’s illustrations!  Her characters have a lot of expression and really seem to come to life as they are colored.  And the little details she adds (such as the bandaid here on Bella’s knee) are just perfect!

Truth be told, sometimes my layouts are a result of some little mistakes made along the way.  That was the case here.  When I was trimming the brown Diamond Lace Edge punched layer on the left, I accidentally cut it off too short.  oops!  (I think I actually muttered something other than oops)  lol.  Yes, I could have cut and punched a new piece, but WHERE”S the fun and challenge in that?  he he.   Hence the half circle was punched and layered to cover it up.  Then, of course, I needed another half circle on the bottom to balance the card out.  ;0)  Let your mistakes be opportunities to stretch your imagination!

I love this Urban Prairie paper…need to use it again soon!  It’s perfect now that the snow is gone once again.

Have a fabulous weekend!
