a material girl

It has been pretty warm and humid here lately so I thought I’d make a card with an image for lower temperatures in hopes that it would cool off a bit.  Did it work?  Not really…LOL.

This Stampavie image is by Penny Johnson and it’s called Looking Chic.  Love it!  I knew I wanted to paper piece her coat, so I pulled out my Cosmo Cricket Material Girl papers and found this cute green gingham pattern.  I think she lives up to the image’s name now, don’t you?

Does this look a bit familiar?  I used the image here to make the announcement for the Stampavie DT Call that I posted on Friday.  If you love the Stampavie products, then you can find out how to apply here!

I hope you enjoyed the Father’s Day weekend!  I had a nice, quiet one.  DH went on a fishing trip so I got a bit of stamping done and helped a friend with a wedding project.

Have a great week!
