Good morning and Happy New Year! Today I have two cards using new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps images from the January release. This is a fun release full of stamps related to snow and bundling up warm and cozy!
When I saw the furniture images in the Let’s Get Cozy set, I wanted to create a scene and decided to make this card a Collapsible Room Card. It was actually pretty easy and fun to do. I added extra black layers to the inside to make the panels “pop” but next time I will stick with the measurements provided since the layer with the chair wants to slightly catch on the bottom when closing the card. When folded and closed, an added ribbon can tie it shut. The sentiment on the front is from Garden Whimsy.
The right side of the card base is scored diagonally and the panel with the chair is only adhered on the left so that it pivots to fold flat. Such a fun card!
For the next card, I also used the new Knit Stencil. How cute is the stretching kitty?!
