the beach is calling

Hello! I’m sharing a card today using Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps‘ new Vitamin Sea Stamp & Die Bundle. It is certainly putting me in the mood for summer!

I started this card by tearing a piece of copy paper and using it to mask & brush inks on the card base for my background.

Next, I used a new pencil eraser to stamp some polka-dots along the left edge of a full front layer. Then I cut a window from the center to allow my inked background to show through.

I then added foam tape to the back side so it could be raised up over the card base.

NOTE: To help with perfect placement of layers that are raised up with foam tape, first add your double-sided tape to all four sides of the back of your layer. Next, peel and fold back only a small section of the release paper on each strip. Turn your layer over and place it on the card front as desired, tacking the exposed adhesive areas in place. Then pull the “tabs” on each side to remove the rest of the backing papers.

Who wants a day spent at the beach? 🙂

Have a great day!
