Hello friends!  The current Ai Challenge is “Spring-y Cards” and we are featuring the fabulous new Art Impressions Watercolor Containers and Critters Sets!  I love these new additions to the WC line…take a look at this wagon and the sweet bunnies!

I used 7 sets on my card today… 4875- Garden Wagon Mini Set, 4869- WC Small Container Set, 4874- WC Bunnies Set, 4868- WC Flower Set 2, 4051- Foliage Set, 4867- WC Foliage Set 2 New, 4903- WC Sentiments Set.

I used the following SU! markers direct to rubber, then applied a damp brush to the stamped image…just as Bonnie shows in her videos.

Hello friends!  The current Ai Challenge is “Let’s Watercolor” and we are featuring the fabulous new Art Impressions Watercolor Minis, Flowers, Foliage, and sentiments!  I’m so glad Bonnie added the sentiments to the line and the new Mini WC sets are so cute!

Today I used the Art Impressions 4875- Garden Wagon Mini Set, 4868- WC Flower Set 2, 4051- Foliage Set, 4867- WC Foliage Set 2 New, and 4903- WC Sentiments Set.

I don’t have the markers that Bonnie uses, but any water-based markers should work fine. I’ve been using my SU! markers since that is what I have in my supply. Here’s the colors that were used on my card.

The current Ai Challenge is “Watercolor Stamping” (use all water-based inks)…and we are featuring 2 NEW Watercolor Mini sets!  Here I used the Old Barn Set (4807) plus a few images from the Flowers Set (4052) and Foliage Set (4051) .

I am still working on my watercoloring, as you can see! lol.  But these are fun to work with and a nice change of pace from the alcohol based markers that I usually use.

Today I am on the Art Impressions blog with a card using the Ai Watercolor EZ Project A (4271) and my sentiment is Thought of You (3170) .

I wanted to use the watercolor stamps in another way so I’ve heat embossed the images with white embossing powder, then colored.  I clearly need more practice! lol. But it was fun using these images a bit differently.  I love a white on white card so that’s the direction I was going.

Hello friends!

The current Ai Challenge is “Watercolor & White Pen” AND we are featuring the NEW Watercolor Mini sets plus the Window Deco Die Set! The window is perfect for your Windows To The World or Watercolor sets.

I used the Ai Southwest Set (4763) and the Window Deco Die Set (4749) for my card. Love this window!

I used the Southwest watercolor images on the outside and again on the inside…

Here’s some close-ups.

My patterned paper curtains are dark but you can faintly see the stamped lines.

Patterns were drawn on both pots and I added some tiny flowers to the cacti.

Today I am on the Art Impressions blog with a card using the Ai Island Window (3178) image.  We are having such an unusual winter here with no snow to speak of yet!  Even though it is cold, I am sort of understanding how my friends in the warmer states must feel when crafting winter scenes.  lol.  I am not using my snowy stamps as much this year.  In fact, I spied this tropical image in my stash and decided to bring a little warmth to the cold temps.

The Windows To The World images don’t need to be used only with the Window Dies (although they are beautiful paired together!).  Here I watercolored the scene and popped it up with some dimensionals.
