Angels Rejoice

Yay!  I am getting a few Christmas cards done!  I have 10 of this design cut and ready to stamp and assemble.  I usually make about 10 or so of each design…I don’t think I could make too many the same!  I struggled with this card but I like how it turned out in the end.  I wanted to go with a total monochromatic look but it just needs the little bit of red added, don’t you think? 

The main image is one of the new Sarah Kay Christmas stamps called Angels Rejoice, available at Stampavie.  I dug into some old tools and found the corner punch that I used on the top corners and some tiny scallop scissors that I used across the bottom edge of the dark green mat.  OK, ladies…I know you have some old corner punches and scallop scissors laying around too.  LOL.  Let’s get them out & use them!  And how come I never use the Handsome Hunter paper?  I love it on this card! 

The Light green layer (Sage Shadow) was wheeled with the SU! Soft Holly wheel.  Love that wheel!  I overlooked it in the catty until a few weeks ago and I’m so glad I bought it.  I’ll be using that one again for sure!  And the word “Noel” is from the AmyR Stamps set called Christmas Sentiments. 

Are you finished decorating for Christmas yet or have you just started like me?  I hope to get the lights on my tree tonight *crossing fingers*.  I hope you enjoy all of the preparations for the upcoming holiday and the spirit of Christmas uplifts you!  I am off to turn on some Christmas music and sing along.
