winter gnomes side fold & atc coin

Hello! Can you believe the end is in sight for this difficult year? Today I have two projects using the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set called Winter Gnomes. On the Side Fold card below I also used Christmas Gnomes.

I participated in an ATC Coin swap a bit ago. Here I also used Encouraging Peonies. I watercolored a background, die cut the circles, and then stamped. The little punched hearts were popped with foam tape.

Have a great day!

vintage romance

Good morning! I have two cards to share today using the new Vintage Romance stamp set. I also used Texture Tiles 7 on this first card. I am still in love with the macarons image and found some matching paper in my stash! If you like this layout, the middle square is 2″ and the side squares are 1 1/2″.

I used some papers from the same pack for my second card and stamped/layered the vintage bottles. Here, the three top strips are 1×4 and the bottom patterned paper piece is 2 1/4 x 4.

Have a blessed Sunday!

you are my everything

Hello! Just popping in with two CAS cards to share using a new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set this month called Texture Tiles 7. I also used the December Stamp of the Month: Much Love on my second card.

While we are still working on Christmas cards, it’s the time of year for stamp companies to look ahead to Valentine’s Day. I kept these simple and wanted the focus on my first card to be on those tiny words. An embossed background seemed to fit well.

I used the full stamp of the words on the second card and over-stamped with words from Much Love. A few hearts from another stamp in Texture Tiles 7 were scattered in the background.

Have a great weekend!

my punny valentines

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using a brand new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps set called My Punny Valentine. I always love a stamp set with punny sentiments! I used the cute tic tac toe image on my first card.

For my second card, I used the sweet little sewing machine and dug out some sewing themed papers to go with it. This one can be used any time of the year, not just for valentines!

Have a great Thursday…enjoy your day!

I’m here for you

Hello! It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving has passed and we are almost into December. What a year. Here’s a card that, unfortunately, I’m sure we all can think of someone to send it to right now. I used the Encouraging Peonies stamp set which is included in the Large Floral Stamp Bundle in the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps sale. There’s a lot of savings on the site, so be sure to check it out!

I also used the Delightfully Delicate background stamp and kept it monochromatic in a cantaloupe color. The flower has Wink of Stella.

Have a great weekend!

light it up…it’s calorie free!

Good morning! Today I have two cards to share using the new Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps sets Make A Wish and Humorous Birthday Innies.

I used the sweet cupcake image and birthday papers for both cards. First I used a curvy design and the “Light it up” sentiment.

For my second card, I stamped the bottom of the cupcake “second generation” so it would be lighter. Then I stamped the words overtop.

Have a great Thursday…enjoy your day!

chocolate cake or chocolate frosting?

Welcome to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps November Release Hop! We’re celebrating 13 years of Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps this month! Hop along with us as we celebrate and share our projects with the fabulous November release with you! Hop along and leave a comment for the designers linked below for a chance to be entered into our giveaway drawing for a $25 gift voucher to the Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps shop. Winner will be announced on the SNSS blog, Wednesday, November 25.

I have a card to share in the hop today using the new Make A Wish, Bold Birthdays, and Humorous Birthday Innies stamp sets. Aaand…. I used my favorite technique…paper piecing! With this cute cake image, I stamped onto two patterned papers and cut them out to swap so I could get two cards for the price of one. lol. Sooo…what would YOU prefer? Chocolate swirl cake with confetti frosting or confetti cake with a chocolate swirl frosting?

YUM either way!

I diecut a circle in the cardfront and lighter pink layers to create a window, then added my cakes to the inside. The other images were stamped monochromatic so the focus is on the cake. The focus should always be on the cake. 😉

I die cut a scalloped layer for the inside to match the scalloped window on the front and added my sentiment to the bottom left for a fun twist.

Have a great day and thanks for hopping!
