This week has been one of emotional ups and downs. But today was definitely a bright spot!
Earlier today I got to meet one of my friends that I’ve come to know through the All That Scraps design team. It was such a fun day and I needed it so much since I am missing my friend Linda.
Lesa Rapp came to my state with her hubby who was here on business. So we were able to plan a time to get together for lunch. Yay! I just adore Lesa’s projects and it has been a lot of fun getting to know her online. When we met, she was waiting with flowers for me and a few cards that she made with my images….how sweet was that?! It is so cool to see what everyone makes but even more so to touch & feel them! *big grin*
OK, now about the project. I made this covered Jr. Legal pad to give Lesa (which paled in comparison to the cards she gave me). I just started with a piece of cardstock that was long enough to cover the front and back and scored the center a bit for the spine. Then the pad is attached to the inside of the back. They are very simple to make. I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory, so here’s the deets:
stamps- Ladybug Friends by Cookie Crumbs; paper- Cosmo Cricket Jitterbug, SU! Creamy Caramel, unknown brown; ink- Memento Black; accessories- Jr. Legal pad, silk flowers, brads, button, Labels 4 Nestabilities, Cuttlebug Friends Forever, Cinnamon Stickles.
And here’s a pic of Lesa and I after a yummy lunch at Red Lobster. Thanks for a fun day, Lesa!
