Hello! Today Simon Says Stamp is launching a NEW, exclusive Art Impressions Girlfriends stamp set in their STAMPtember celebration! This image, Dance it Out Set (4728E) has 4 gals having a great time shakin’ it.
After coloring, I cut them out and mounted them to the card on an Action Wobble. I love using those…they make a FUN, interactive card…and it’s EASY! The banners were hand cut.
And here’s a short clip of the action!
Be sure to hop over to Simon Says Stamp and check out this awesome set!

Hello crafty friends! Sooo…today I have something a little different to share. Pocket letters are something new and fun… think ATC’s crossed with pen pals. I recently finished my first one and here’s a few pics… plus a quick video.
So basically you have 9 ATCs in a pocket sleeve…folded and mailed in a business envelope, with a letter or notes tucked in to your “pen pal”.
some close ups… Click on photos for larger view.
first row… Dymo Label maker, Chinese fortunes, etc…
the middle… a cute little bunny (with an extra stamp included behind it), an embossed envelope, paper pieced heart…
a teeny card inside the center envelope…
and the last row… shiny boots, butterfly, and Classic Pooh…
The video is horrible…LOL…with bad lighting to boot…but here you go anyway…
Have a great day!
Good morning! I have a fun card to share (and a quick video). I love interactive cards so I am excited today about the Art impressions new Spinners Launch! They are ALL so cute and immediately went onto my wish list. Is this not the cutest couple?
I used Love Spinner (4571) and the coordinating Love Spinner Dies (4613) on my card. The front is CAS (clean & simple)…
but this card is all about what’s inside…
The front & back images have diecuts that match up perfectly with each other to make putting them back to back a SNAP! Just adhere them on a string and they SPIN… cool! I made a Pop Out Window Suspension Card to hang them in.
The front & back of the paper pieced images…
Here’s a little 5 second video to see them spin!
I am anxious to try some of the others in this collection. Be sure to see all the great DT samples on the Ai blog today. And join us in the Cards With Movement Challenge. Check it out and play along…you could win some awesome Ai stamps!

My friend, LouAnn, just retired and of course I needed to make her a card in celebration. So I turned to another one of my Art Impressions Golden Oldies, the too cute and oh so funny Millie.
I took one look at her and decided that she needed to be in motion…so I colored and cut her out, then mounted her onto the card with an Action Wobble spring. Only the lines around her which show motion were masked and stamped onto the patterned paper underneath.
After my card was completed it still seemed liked something was missing. Glitz! So Millie’s blouse was made sparkly with a clear Wink of Stella pen. Much better.
On the inside, I typed and printed the message on my computer.
Wanna see Millie wiggle…err…jumpin’ for joy??

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! I hope your day is extra special.
A week ago I went to the local Arts Fest and found the cutest bird feeders… antique tea cups mounted onto old spindles! My girls gave some to me for Mother’s Day and I purchased a few for gifts. Since I was giving one to my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day, I wanted to make a matching card. I realized then that I had just the image to make it!
The bird and teacup image from my Special Blend stamp set was perfect! ♥
When we purchased the feeders, I was pleasantly surprised that “100% of the proceeds go to help provide adaptive AmTrykes to differently abled people.” What a wonderful gift those ladies are giving that make them. Here’s a few pics of the birds that I’ve enjoyed watching as they visit the feeders.
and a sneaky one… “If I look the other way, he might not see me coming”. lol.
And a quick little video to share…I think the last little bird needs his momma to give him a few more flying lessons. 😉 Happy Mother’s Day!
